Optimism: Cultivating Real Hope

A Free Public Talk and Hors d’oeuvres

We all have an inner optimist. It is the part of us that is hopeful, positive and sees the possibilities our life offers.  But is hope realistic in these challenging times? This depends upon our expectations and goals, and how we view our life, and the world around us. In this talk we will explore Buddha’s teachings on how to maintain a peaceful and positive wise mind even though we are living in a time of Covid, global warming, social upheaval, and political divisiveness.

Registration has now closed, as the event is full.

Cost:  Free.

The hors d’oeuvres and social time will be held outdoors, and the public talk will be held indoors. The City of Baltimore requires that face masks be worn during indoor events.
