Saturday Retreat: Love Without Pain

  • Kadampa Meditation Center Maryland (map)

Love does not have to be painful.  In this retreat, we will learn specific methods for improving all our relationships through differentiating real love from the delusion of attachment.

Often it can seem that the very people we are trying to love are the ones standing in the way of our happiness! Those we love can test us, try our patience and fail to meet our wishes and expectations. How are we to maintain our love for others amidst the everyday challenges that pop up in all of our relationships?

In Buddha’s teachings we can find the answers we are looking for. These teachings give us the ability to continuously improve all of our relationships through learning to recognize the difference between real love and our unrealistic ideas about love.
