Friday Night Lecture at KMC DC: The Power of a Positive Mind

  • Kadampa Meditation Center DC 1200 Canal Street Southwest Washington, DC, 20024 United States (map)

Visit our sister center in Southwest DC for this extraordinary event with our internationally known Deputy Spiritual Director, Gen-la Kelsang Jampa!

At this lecture, Gen-la Jampa will teach and guide meditations on how our thoughts create our world, so our mind can be our best friend or our worst enemy. How wonderful it would be to relate to ourself and our world in a way that allows happiness and joy to naturally arise from within.

Buddha showed that by cultivating the habit of positive thinking we can engage in life in a light and relaxed way that not only affords us a rich sense of wellbeing but also brings a joyful energy to all our relationships and interactions. Probably the kindest thing we can do for ourself and others is to experience the power of a positive mind.
