Meditations for Modern Life, followed by optional lunch

  • Kadampa Meditation Center Maryland (map)

Join us for lunch after class in our World Peace Cafe!

These classes include both meditations and teachings based on Buddha’s wisdom that can help us to stay peaceful, even in the most challenging times. Current series topic:

Taking Charge of Your Holiday Experience: Overcoming the Holiday Blues

Loving others is principally an attitude of mind, and the way in which we express it depends upon the needs, wishes and situations of each individual, as well as our karmic connection with them.  If we make a special determination to cherish those with whom we are going to spend our time, and then put this determination into practice, our cherishing will be grounded and sincere. This will make our holidays harmonious and meaningful.

To Register: Please register upon arrival. We request that you arrive 10 minutes early if possible.

Cost: $12/class ($8 students/seniors 62+/unemployed).

Your first class is always free: just let us know it’s your first class when you arrive.

You can also become a member starting at $50/month and receive discounts while you help to provide a steady level of support for our activities. These classes are included in your membership!
