Meditations for Modern Life: Freedom from Anger

  • Kadampa Meditation Center Maryland (map)

You can either attend in-person, or watch a recording online. There is a different class topic each week. Our Sunday Social with refreshments afterwards is temporarily suspended.

These classes include both meditations and teachings based on Buddha’s wisdom that can help us to stay peaceful, even in the most challenging times. Current series topic:

Freedom from Anger: The Dangers of Anger

Anger has no function other than to cause us harm.  It makes our mind rough and uncontrolled, robs us of our happiness, and disturbs others.  Even the small anger of impatience and annoyance destroys our peace of mind and creates stress in our lives.  This series will help us to learn how to recognize, reduce, and even eliminate anger from our mind.

To Register for In-Person Class: Click Here. You can also register at the door (please arrive 15 minutes early).

To Register for Recording: Click Here.
