Meditations for Modern Life: Why Can’t I Stay Happy

  • Kadampa Meditation Center Maryland (map)

You can either attend in-person, or watch a recording online. There is a different class topic each week. Dinner is offered before class from 4:30-6:15pm at our World Peace Cafe.

These classes include both meditations and teachings based on Buddha’s wisdom that can help us to stay peaceful, even in the most challenging times. Current series topic:

Gaining the Power to Eliminate the Negativity in Our Mind: Why Can’t I Stay Happy?

If we understand the causes of our unhappiness and negativity, we will be able to begin to eliminate it by practicing Buddha’s teachings on purification in our daily life. This method is simple, clear, and easy to do, and the benefits we receive are great. What a wonderful opportunity to give ourselves protection from suffering!

To Register for In-Person Class: Click Here. You can also register at the door (please arrive 15 min early).

To Register for Recording: Click Here.

Cost: $12/class ($8 students/seniors/unemployed).

If you register for a recording, you will receive it by the Friday of that week, and it will be available to watch for 7 days.

You can also become a member starting at $50/month and receive discounts while you help to provide a steady level of support for our activities. These classes are included in your membership!
