In this retreat, we’ll explore how it’s possible to improve all our relationships using Buddha’s wisdom. We’ll look at questions such as:
Isn’t our deepest wish to find stable love?
In fact, our most heartfelt wish as human beings is simply to be happy. Buddha teaches us that we can achieve this goal by learning to love others. Through cultivating meaningful relationships with others starting with our close circle of family and friends, our love begins to grow and along with it our happiness.
But there’s a problem.
Often it can seem that the very people we are trying to love are the ones standing in the way of our happiness! Those we love can test us, push our buttons, try our patience and fail to meet our wishes and expectations. How are we to maintain our love for others amidst the everyday challenges that pop up in all of our relationships?
In Buddha’s teachings we can find the answers we are looking for. These teachings give us the ability to continuously improve all of our relationships because we can learn to recognize the difference between real love and our unrealistic ideas about love.
