Meditations for Modern Life

  • Kadampa Meditation Center Maryland (map)

These classes include both meditations and teachings based on Buddha’s wisdom that can help us to stay peaceful, even in the most challenging times. Current series topic:

Increasing the Power of the Mind - The Science of Tantra

The mind is full of creative power.  Each day our mind creates a multitude of thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Through a special type of meditation called Creative Yoga, we can learn to see beyond the limitations of our ordinary thinking into the extraordinary possibilities for our life. This series will show us how to use visualization and imagination to awaken and channel our creative energy into greater peace and happiness, and eventually, if we wish, to the perfection of our human qualities.
