Meditations for Modern Life

  • Kadampa Meditation Center Maryland (map)

These classes include both meditations and teachings based on Buddha’s wisdom that can help us to stay peaceful, even in the most challenging times. Current series topic:

You Too Can Gain Realizations: Improving Our Concentration in Meditation

Regular meditation will help us be more calm, flexible and happy in our life. But the deeper potential of meditation is extraordinary. Buddhist meditation has the power to bring about stable and lasting change so that we have an ongoing experience of happiness and energy, a heart full of love and compassion, and a liberating insight into reality.

In this series, Gen Chogden will provide us with the special keys to bring about these deeper changes, known as realizations. She will show us how to stop being hard on ourself but instead to practice with joy and confidence, in a relaxed and inspired way, that will naturally bring about the real changes we long for.
