Meditations for Modern Life, followed by Sunday Social

There will be refreshments provided after class during our Sunday Social.

These classes include both meditations and teachings based on Buddha’s wisdom that can help us to stay peaceful, even in the most challenging times.

This week, class will be taught by Guest Teacher, Gen Chogyop (see more info below). The topic will be:

Learning to Create Happiness Through Understanding Karma

To Register: Please arrive 15 minutes early and register at the door.

Cost: $12/class ($8 students/seniors 62+/unemployed).  

Your first class is always free.  Simply register at the door by letting the front desk volunteer know it is your first class.

You can also become a member starting at $50/month and receive discounts while you help to provide a steady level of support for our activities. These classes are included in your membership!

About the Teacher: Gen Kelsang Chogyop

Gen Chogyop is the Resident Teacher at Menlha Kadampa Buddhist Center in Lambertville, NJ. Gen Chogyop has been studying and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for more than 20 years, and is known for her warm heart, practical teachings and sincere practice of Dharma. She provides an inspiring example of a modern Buddhist practitioner. Through emphasizing the Bodhisattva’s way of life, she encourages all the students at the center to bring their practice of Buddha’s teachings into their daily lives, bringing joy to as many people as possible.
