Meditations for Modern Life: The Power of Imagination to Charge Up Your Meditation Practice

  • Kadampa Meditation Center Maryland (map)

Dinner is offered before class from 4:30-6:15pm at our World Peace Cafe.

These classes include both meditations and teachings based on Buddha’s wisdom that can help us to stay peaceful, even in the most challenging times. Current series topic:

The Power of Imagination: The Power of Visualization

Charge up your meditation practice with the power of imagination!

How is it possible for something that exists only in our imagination to become a reality? It is a remarkable quality of the mind that we first create objects with our imagination and then bring them into our everyday reality. In fact, everything starts in the imagination.  Through meditation, we can bring our wish for freedom from suffering and  lasting peace and happiness into existence.

To Register (this class is in-person only): Click Here. You can also register at the door (please arrive 15 min early).

Cost: $12/class ($8 students/seniors 62+/unemployed).

Your first class is always free.  Email epc@meditationmd.org to get the promo code for your free class, or just let us know it’s your first class when you arrive.

You can also become a member starting at $50/month and receive discounts while you help to provide a steady level of support for our activities. These classes are included in your membership!
