Meditations for Modern Life, followed by Sunday Social

  • Kadampa Meditation Center Maryland (map)

You can either attend in-person, or watch a recording online. There is a different class topic each week. There will be refreshments provided after class during our Sunday Social.

These classes include both meditations and teachings based on Buddha’s wisdom that can help us to stay peaceful, even in the most challenging times. Current series topic:

Breaking Bad Habits: Seeing the Good Instead of the Bad

Our unpeaceful states of mind that cause us to suffer and perform harmful actions are just bad mental habits, and like all habits they can be broken. Just as it is possible to separate mud from water, so it is possible to eliminate all of our bad habits from our mind.  Then there is nothing that can disturb our inner peace and joy.

To Register for In-Person Class: Click Here. You can also register at the door (please arrive 15 minutes early).

To Register for Video Recording: Click Here.

Cost: $12/class ($8 students/seniors/unemployed).

Your first class is always free.  Email epc@meditationmd.org to get the promo code for your free class.

If you register for a recording, you will receive it on the Friday of that week and it will be available to watch for 7 days.

Please do not share the recording with anyone. Class prices are per person

You can also become a member starting at $50/month and receive discounts while you help to provide a steady level of support for our activities. These classes are included in your membership!
