Meditations for Modern Life, Followed by Sunday Social

  • Kadampa Meditation Center Maryland (map)

This week we are very pleased to have Guest Teacher Gen Kelsang Norden teaching this class!

You can either attend in-person, or watch a recording online. There is a different class topic each week. There will be refreshments provided after each class during our Sunday Social.

These classes include both meditations and teachings based on Buddha’s wisdom that can help us to stay peaceful, even in the most challenging times. Current series topic:

Preparing for Truly Happy Holidays: Giving Love.

Loving others is principally an attitude of mind, and the way in which we express it depends upon the needs, wishes and situations of each individual, as well as our karmic connection with them.  If we make a special determination to cherish those with whom we are going to spend our time, and then put this determination into practice, our cherishing will be grounded and sincere. This will make our holidays harmonious and meaningful.

To Register for In-Person Class: Click Here. You can also register at the door (please arrive 15 minutes early).
