Meditation Classes in Columbia

  • The Meeting House: Oakland Mills Interfaith Center 5885 Robert Oliver Place Columbia, MD, 21045 United States (map)

Everyone is welcome to join these weekly classes on meditation and modern Buddhism.

These classes include both meditations and teachings based on Buddha’s wisdom that can help us to stay peaceful, even in the most challenging times. Current series topic:

You Too Can Make Realizations! The Keys to Stable and Lasting Change

Regular meditation will help us be more calm, flexible and happy in our life. But the deeper potential of meditation is extraordinary. Buddhist meditation has the power to bring about stable and lasting change so that we have an ongoing experience of happiness and energy, a heart full of love and compassion, and a liberating insight into reality.

In this series, Rick will provide us with the special keys to bring about these deeper changes, known as realizations. He will show us how to stop being hard on ourselves but instead to practice with joy and confidence, in a relaxed and inspired way, that will naturally bring about the real changes we long for.
