Children’s Meditation Class

  • Kadampa Meditation Center Maryland (map)

For children 6-12 years old.

In this class, we teach kids how to meditate plus introduce them to foundational Buddhist concepts such as: how to connect to a sense of inner peace, to identify with our astounding potential, develop compassion and gratitude for the kindness of others, and let go of agitating states of mind like anger and jealousy.

Regular attendance at these classes can assist kids with the development of important life skills such as increased empathy, respect for others, self control and concentration.

Please note: A parent/guardian is required to stay onsite while your child is in class. You are welcome to either attend Meditations for Modern Life class upstairs during this time, or attend this class with your child.

Cost:  Free!

To Register: Please arrive 10 minutes early and register at the door.
