Peace and Pancakes
On most Sundays from 10:30-11:30 AM for meditation and prayers for peace, followed at 11:30 AM by a delicious brunch.
“We all wish for world peace, but world peace will never be achieved unless we first establish peace within our own minds.”
— Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Help to bring peace to our world through the simple action of meditating together and dedicating our prayers towards world peace. Our prayers are neither small nor passive actions. Rather, they are an inconceivable force for change in our shared world.
The mornings include a guided meditation, chanted prayers and a talk based on Buddhist thought. Stay for brunch and make new friends! Everyone is welcome – you do not need to be a Buddhist to attend, or to benefit from the classes – just drop in on any of the following Sundays.
